Frequently Asked Questions

▶ How long does it take?

Most residential pools are finished in 3–6 hours. Commercial pools 1–2 days.

▶ Do you have to drain the pool?

No. We work with the water level exactly where it is. However, in some cases we will lower the water level just below the waterline tile for better exposure.

▶ Is it safe for glass, porcelain, and stone tiles?

Yes. Glass beads and soda mediums are softer than all common pool tiles, so there is zero etching or scratching.

▶ What about the mess?

Our equipment is 99.9% dustless and we vacuum the spent beads out of the pool the same day. The removed calcium might cloud the water until your filter system removes it in a couple of hours.

▶ Do you need to seal the tile after cleaning?

Natural stone will need to be sealed. (Optionally)Porcelain and glass tiles can be sealed to enhance the like new color pop!

▶ How soon can you come?

We usually schedule within 1–5 business days. Emergency services available upon request.
