Natural Setting - Pool 9

NSPI Region III - 2003 Design Award Winner
This pool may be small, but the effect on the backyard is definitely
huge. At only 18 feet long, this pool packs a punch. Six tons
of rock make up the magnificent waterfall that helps to hide the
noise of busy city life. The pool itself is divided into two sections
for relaxation and exercise. The relaxation part is more like
a free-form spa that is elevated 12 inches above the tumbled pavestone
deck. The spillway is created from rounded flagstone, which enhances
the sound of rushing water. The exercise area is small, but versatile.
The swim jet allows the bather to enjoy all the athletic benefits
of a full-sized pool in a small space. With outdoor kitchen and
gazebo, you can understand why it would be easy to forget you
live in the city.
