Natural Setting - Pool 8

NSPI Region III - 2003 Design Award Winner
An amazing sight to behold. The requirements were simple, the
homeowner wanted a small cozy pool and spa, with a cave and a
nice waterfall. It sounded simple, but taking up an 8-foot drop
in elevation was a situation to deal with. With the pool divided
into an upper and lower pool, this backyard couldn’t be any more
dramatic. The upper pool cascades down over a stacked flagstone
wall into the lower pool, while the upper accent rock wraps around
to form a cave and waterfall. The spa is raised six inches from
the pool deck, and there is ample seating in the pool to accommodate
any number of bathers. Multiple elevation changes in the deck
help to tie the design together making this pool an amazing sight
to behold.
